Woke up at 4 a.m. Central time to write a letter for reference for a super Ball State University journalism student seeking an internship at the Met. Gosia is still sleeping. This chain motel has breakfast at six a.m. There is a coffee pot in room but no coffee. Hoping the motel’s spread includes a hot cereal, boiled egg, and coffee–but I’ll settle for coffee if cereal and egg are missing. Road through Minneapolis and N.D. entry looks passable on the weather front. Have a super day! Wake up, Gosia. We are burning daylight.
